Old Man is the Future

Old Man is the Future is an action / shooting 2d game. The world has been destroyed and hostile creatures have invaded it. Determined to save his city, the Old Man equips himself with his gun and his beers, and decides to go on a rampage...

SURVIVE AS LONG AS YOU CAN !

The game isn't really complete, I initially made it as a prototype to test out some mechanics and improve my GameMaker skills. I learned a lot while I was making and was happy with the result, so I decided to share it.

I never polished it out or debugged it, so don't expect it to be perfect : some elements are bugged, but I've never witnessed something that would actually prevent you from playing. 

The main level (the "arena" one) actually never ends, even ends. The game is finished when you die, so try to resist as long as possible !

CONTROLS :

KEYBOARD:

• WASD / ZQSD keys : move your character around
• E : Drink beer (restore health)
• SPACE : Buy weapons or upgrades as the merchant

MOUSE:

• Left Mouse button : shoot
• Right Mouse button (maintain) : sprint
